Brow Lift

A brow lift treats the upper third of the face. It returns the eyebrows to their normal positions, reducing or eliminating long horizontal creases across the forehead furrows and minimizing vertical frown lines.

Procedure

  • With separate incisions or with a single incision along the hairline, the muscles and excess skin of the forehead are pulled and repositioned.
  • This surgery takes about 1 to 1½ hours and is performed under general anesthesia, allowing patients to return home the same day.
  • Brow lift surgery is often performed in conjunction with other facial plastic surgeries like Quicklift®, which addresses the lower and mid face, or Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty).

Recovery

Bandages are worn for one to three days and the stitches are removed after one week. Most patients resume normal activity after one week.

Results

This Procedure lifts sagging eyebrows, eliminating that tired, sad look and leaving the forehead smoother. The overall result is a more relaxed, youthful expression.
