Brow Lift
A brow lift treats the upper third of the face. It repositions the eyebrows to their normal position reducing or eliminating long horizontal creases across the forehead furrows and vertical frown lines.
PROCEDURE
Through separate incisions or through one incision along the hairline, the muscles and excess skin of the forehead is pulled repositioned.
Surgery takes about 1 to 1½ hours and is performed under general anesthesia with return home the same day.
Brow lift surgery is often performed in conjunction with other facial plastic surgeries such as a facelift which addresses the lower and mid face, and eye lift surgery.
RECOVERY
Bandages are worn for 1-3 days and the stitches are removed
at one week. Most can resume full activity at two weeks.
RESULTS
A browlift lifts the sagging eyebrows that can cause that
tired sad look, leaving the forehead smoother. The overall
result is a more relaxed, youthful expression. (The patients below received a browlift and eyelid surgery)
