Pulsed Light Photorejuvenation

Pulsed Light technology is one of the most innovative skin care procedures in cosmetic surgery for the face and neck. A non-ablative photo skin rejuvenation technique, it can be effectively used to treat areas of redness, sun damage, photoaging, and flushing of the skin. A pulsed light photofacial also stimulates collagen and connective tissue. Patients experience diminished skin surface imperfections, such as large pore size, fine wrinkles, and elastic skin. The pulsed light stimulates and encourages fiber blast activity and increases collagen growth. Sun damage and weathered areas on the neck, arms, chest and the back of the hands can also be treated.

Procedure

Recovery

Immediately following treatment, slight reddening of the skin may occur. Local swelling for three to five days may occur in persons with severely sun-damaged skin.

Results

Pulsed light photofacial will aid in skin rejuvenation by reducing fine lines, broken blood vessels, pore size, roughness, and fade age spots. It will not get rid of deeper wrinkles, frown lines, severe acne scars, or other kinds of scars. This cosmetic laser surgery procedure is often a great complement to a Quicklift®, PrecisionTx™, or Eyelid surgery.
