What Is Renuvion?
Renuvion treatment can be used to contract the skin on the face, neck, and body. It is often combined with liposuction to various areas of the body, such as the abdomen and thighs to help contract skin and avoid the need for excision of loose skin.
How Much Does Renuvion Cost?
The cost of Renuvion can vary from person to person. It can be done as a standalone procedure but is most often combined with other body contouring procedures. At Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery, we strive to make our body contouring procedures as affordable as possible. We accept most major credit cards in addition to cash, cashier checks, and money orders. We also offer financing options through CareCredit® and will provide full details on financing during your one-on-one consultation.
Am I A Candidate For Renuvion?
Renuvion is ideal for patients who want results without the complexity associated with traditional surgery. Renuvion can improve mild to moderate loose skin associated with pregnancy, weight loss, or aging.
Common Treatment Areas Include:
- Love Handles / Flanks
- Back/Bra rolls
- Upper arms
- Inner Thighs and Knees
- Saggy jowls and neck
Renuvion reduces helium gas into a plasma beam that contracts the fibers beneath the skin’s surface to stimulate shrinkage of the skin. This procedure can be used on its own or many times combined with liposuction to get the best results.
How Is Renuvion Performed?
Renuvion is performed under local anesthesia in the office. It usually takes about 1 hour per treatment area but may take longer if combined with other body contouring procedures or multiple areas are done.
A numbing solution is first administered to the area to be treated, followed by liposuction if both procedures are combined. Dr. Pisarski will then insert a small probe under the skin. The radiofrequency flows through the helium gas beam and down the probe to stimulate the collagen and elastin in the underlying subcutaneous tissue while retracting the skin.
I have chosen Dr Pisarski for a second time to do a procedure on me, and again, I got exactly what I asked for. I am so pleased with my results. He is friendly, professional, and honest, and I trust him. His staff is amazing, and his office is beautiful and clean. No need to venture out to Houston when we have Dr Pisarski , a triple board, highly skilled surgeon here in Lake Jackson. Thank you!

What Is Recovery Like After Renuvion?
Recovery after Renuvion is not extensive. You return home the day of the procedure and will be able to resume your normal daily activities within a day or two. You will wear a compression garment on the treated areas to help speed up recovery.
How Long Will My Renuvion Results Last?
With Renuvion, you can achieve an even better result than with just liposuction alone. It can also be an appealing alternative for patients who are seeking a faster, minimally invasive procedure with less risk, faster recovery time, and less scarring.
You’ll typically notice results within a week, and these results continue to improve as the skin contracts over the course of a few months. Your results can last up to a lifetime if you maintain your body weight.
