Tummy Tuck: Don’t Put It Off Any Longer

Tummy Tuck: Don’t Put It Off Any Longer

A tummy tuck, formally known as an abdominoplasty, restores your shape and appearance after giving birth, menopause, the natural aging process, or weight loss. This body-contouring procedure will help give you back the body you remember as it addresses excess skin and fat. A tummy tuck is great for any adult looking to specifically target the abdomen and contour their body in this region. Our August Special includes a free bikini laser hair removal series (LHR) with your tummy tuck purchase.

Tummy Tuck

We can improve the abdominal area through abdominoplasty, also referred to as a tummy tuck. With a tummy tuck we’re addressing several key areas in the abdomen.  A main complaint for most patients is excess skin. We address that through a low bikini line incision, allowing us to remove excess skin and fat from the abdomen. Many times the abdominal muscles get stretched apart after childbirth and won’t respond to exercise. With a tummy tuck we’re able to tighten the muscles and pull them together. Tummy tuck results can last for many years, and even longer with a great diet and exercise routine.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal (LHR) reduces unwanted hair permanently using a laser. Hair growth patterns change with age. Whether it’s hair you’ve always had, or hair you’ve acquired over time, LHR could be an option for you. The laser works on follicles that are actively producing hair at the time of the treatment, so several treatments are necessary to get the follicles during their growth phase. Most areas require 3 to 6 treatments, spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart. Optimal long-term benefits depend on hair thickness, the area treated, and the natural growth cycle of the hair.

The laser uses the transfer of energy in the form of the laser light. The pigment in the hair follicle absorbs the laser light and converts it to heat. The heat loosens the hair and disables the cell from producing new hair. Simply put, the laser causes localized damage to the hair by selectively heating the dark pigment in the follicle, leaving the rest of the skin untouched. Treatment areas include face, legs, arms, underarms, back, bikini line, nipples and chest.
